Airplane Model
Using 3D Studio, we created a model of an airplane starting with blueprints and ending with a rendered, finished project. We used modifiers like twist, extrude, symmetry, etc. to create the plane.
Blueprints
The first thing we did when constructing our planes was to upload the blueprints so that we could model the parts.
Main Fuselage
The first part that was modeled was the main fuselage using extrude, bevel, and inset. The vertices were then manipulated using the modifier "Edit Poly" to shape the fuselage to the blueprints.
Photoshop
Finally, we imported a rendered version of the plane into Photoshop and added a background
